Sheryl is the first born in family of two whose father died when she was very young. She told us that the family of their father did not want their mother, after some period their uncles sent them and their mother away. They left home and came to the streets. They found an old abandoned house in the street where they took shelter, but after a while the mother got very sick. They had no money to treat her and that’s when she and her brother Jeff went to the streets to beg for food and money. Life became so harsh on them when their sick mother disappeared and abandoned them on the streets. To date they still don’t know the whereabouts of their mother. One day they came across a widow called Nereah who had sympathy on them and brought them to still hope. Sheryl loves singing, fetching water and reading story books; she also plays soccer.
