Dorothy is the first born in a family of three siblings. She is a partial orphan. Her father died in the year 2009 when she was a young kid. She was left with her mother who was sickling and could not provide for the family needs well, due to that situation. Dorothy became very sick when she was young that she could start school at the right time. she was referred to us by their church pastor who was aware of still hope and its care to the vulnerable children. Dorothy has just finished primary school and she is now waiting to join high school in February 2023.Her dream is to become a teacher one day so that she can also impact knowledge especially to vulnerable children in her community. she loves singing and athletic during her leisure time.

Dorothy is the first borne in a family of two siblings. His brother is called Vincent Otieno. Dorothy is under the guardianship of her father who is not able to provide or take care of the family due to some mental disorder. Her father is a strong drug addict and his condition has exposed Dorothy and Vincent to a lot of risks. Many times, they survive through well wishers who sometimes show compassion on them and offer them food. Sometimes they can go survive even on water a one when there’s no food. Vincent his brother is already sponsored at Still hope. She is a good fearing well behaved girl and with some support she can still make it in life. She never misses Church every Sunday. She is trusting God for a sponsor who would support her with basic needs and education.

Derrick is in upper class seven at Opondo primary school. His father died in the year 2001. He was a product of an affair between her mother and the man who inherited her. This was done to fulfil the laws of tradition in Luo community. A few years later his mother also started ailing from different diseases and later on died. He was left under the guardianship of his old grandmother to take care of him. The grandmother is a widow and sickling. Derrick is now very poor and vulnerable with no one to turn to except the grandmother. He was referred to still hope by one of their teachers from school. She was left with her step -mother as the sole provider of the family. She later moved to stay with her aunt in Oyugis town where we found her living in a very poor condition with no job and no food since her Aunt became sick. Caroline is among the secondary boarding students of Still Hope center. Her academic work is so promising and we hope she will study up university level. She likes singing and participating in drama during her leisure time. Her dream is to become a lawyer.

Clinton is the fifth born in a family of six siblings. The minor is a partial orphan who live with his elderly grandmother who’s ailing thus unable to meet the basic needs as she is also taking care of Clinton’s ailing mother. His father who was the sole bread winner of the family died in 2012. He was referred to still hope orphanage home by their school head teacher who had once visited still hope. Clinton is a well behaved and disciplined boy whose dream is to become a lawyer when he grows up. He has finished primary school and he’s now waiting to join highschool in February 2023. He loves playing soccer and singing Christian songs. Clinton is praying that God will send a destiny helper his way to enable him achieve his dreams.

Chrispine is the third born in a family of seven siblings. He lost both his parents and the year 2013 and 2014. Since then he has been under the guardianship of her step mother who is just a peasant farmer with other eight children of her own. He has been the best performing student in his previous primary grades. He’s very intelligent and good fearing. His hobbies are playing soccer and reading story books. Chrispine is unable to join high school at the moment despite the fact that he got very good grades in his primary. His prayer is to find someone who will hold his hands to his destiny.
