Angel is a 12-year-old student currently in Primary Five. Her father passed away last year from an unknown illness that involved severe abdominal complications. Her mother is a peasant farmer living in a very small piece of Land with her children. Many a times she goes to look for a job in the village such as house maid, digging and fetching water for people in order to put food on the table. Since she joined Still hope she became the first child in her family ever to join high and now to university. Currently she is a first-year student at Kenyatta University taking bachelor of Mass Communication and Journalism. Lizzy is a born-again girl and well disciplined. She likes playing soccer ball and singing in the church. Her prayer is to get a sponsor who can support her through her education and other needs.

Bradox is the second born in a family of three siblings. He was made a partial orphan after the death of his father seven years ago. Bradox was left with his mother who is just a peasant farmer and she cannot produce enough to sustain her family. He was referred to us through their area chief who knows the Still Hope center and its humanitarian care for vulnerable children. Bradox is among the home based children in our center, He is doing well in his studies and he would like to be a journalist after his studies. He loves playing soccer during his leisure time.

Brendah is 12 years old and currently in Primary 4. She has a deep love for the Lord and a joyful passion for dancing. Her father is unknown, and her mother—who is HIV-positive and often unwell—cares for Brendah and her two siblings under difficult circumstances. Despite these challenges, Brendah finds joy in leading praise and worship during evening devotions, where her faith and enthusiasm shine brightly.

Claire is an 11-year-old student currently in Primary 3. She is cheerful, well-disciplined, and full of life. Both of her parents are alive, but the family faces significant financial hardship. Her father works as a bricklayer and earns daily wages; however, much of his income is unfortunately spent on alcohol, leaving little to support the family.

Clinton is the fifth born in a family of six siblings. The minor is a partial orphan who live with his elderly grandmother who’s ailing thus unable to meet the basic needs as she is also taking care of Clinton’s ailing mother. His father who was the sole bread winner of the family died in 2012. He was referred to still hope orphanage home by their school head teacher who had once visited still hope. Clinton is a well behaved and disciplined boy whose dream is to become a lawyer when he grows up. He has finished primary school and he’s now waiting to join highschool in February 2023. He loves playing soccer and singing Christian songs. Clinton is praying that God will send a destiny helper his way to enable him achieve his dreams.
