Bradox is the second born in a family of three siblings. He was made a partial orphan after the death of his father seven years ago. Bradox was left with his mother who is just a peasant farmer and she cannot produce enough to sustain her family. He was referred to us through their area chief who knows the Still Hope center and its humanitarian care for vulnerable children. Bradox is among the home based children in our center, He is doing well in his studies and he would like to be a journalist after his studies. He loves playing soccer during his leisure time.

Her father is unknown, and her mother—who is HIV-positive and often unwell—cares for Brendah and her two siblings under difficult circumstances. He is the son of the late Joseph Ogutu Onyach and Caroline Akinyi Ogutu from Kotieno East Sub-location Oyugis. He’s the third born in a family six children. His father died on 1st May 2008 after battling with heart disease for many years. His mother became mentally handicapped after giving birth to their firth born. Currently Calvince is under the care of a good Samaritan called Pamela Auma. For two years he was a street boy before Pamela found her. Unfortunate the said guardian was diagnosed with lung cancer and has been bed-ridden since last year. Academically he is an average student but with great potential in him. He was referred to Still Hope by a friend of Pamela. Ever since he came God has changed his life. He received the Lord and was baptized. He’s now well-behaved and God-fearing. He likes playing soccer and singing. His dream is to become an electrician one-day God willing.

Calvince is a 11-year-old boy who was rescued by the police in the street of Oyugis. The police took him to the children’s department which later brought him to still hope. His mother, who was a widow abandoned her on the streets and disappeared never to be found. He likes singing and playing soccer at school. Caroline is the first born in a family of two siblings. She lost both her parents in 2007. Her father died in March and her mother followed two months later. She was left with her step -mother as the sole provider of the family. She later moved to stay with her aunt in Oyugis town where we found her living in a very poor condition with no job and no food since her Aunt became sick. Caroline is among the secondary boarding students of Still Hope center. Her academic work is so promising and we hope she will study up university level. She likes singing and participating in drama during her leisure time. Her dream is to become a lawyer.

Chrispine is the third born in a family of seven siblings. He lost both his parents and the year 2013 and 2014. Since then he has been under the guardianship of her step mother who is just a peasant farmer with other eight children of her own. He has been the best performing student in his previous primary grades. He’s very intelligent and good fearing. His hobbies are playing soccer and reading story books. Chrispine is unable to join high school at the moment despite the fact that he got very good grades in his primary. His prayer is to find someone who will hold his hands to his destiny.

The minor is a partial orphan who live with his elderly grandmother who’s ailing thus unable to meet the basic needs as she is also taking care of Clinton’s ailing mother. His father who was the sole bread winner of the family died in 2012. He was referred to still hope orphanage home by their school head teacher who had once visited still hope. Clinton is a well behaved and disciplined boy whose dream is to become a lawyer when he grows up. He has finished primary school and he’s now waiting to join highschool in February 2023. He loves playing soccer and singing Christian songs. Clinton is praying that God will send a destiny helper his way to enable him achieve his dreams.
